My picture represents my mother. My mother is like the sun, providing me with love, warmth and care. The Earth, provides me with my bare necessities, like water and oxygen. She may be fierce and scary at times, just like a black hole.

A universe
God's creation
Just like my mother

An empathetic heart
The consideration
Just like the sun

Filled with the warmth of water
The necessary oxygen
Just like Mother Earth

The restricted area
A danger zone
Just like black holes

The universe
The life
My Mother

One and only.

My Poem

Title: My one and only~

You if not only you
Were the one who was there for me
We were connected by a special bond
The one, who is a companion
The one, who is a teacher
The one, who is my reason for living
The one, who is always willing to lend a listening ear
The one, who would risk her life for me
The one, who breathe life in to me
The one, who make me realise that I’m not alone
The one, who enable me to view this world
The one, who gave me the basic vision of life
The one, who gave me everything I could ever ask for
The one, who provided me with nothing but the best
The one who I can always rely on
The one, who I can always put my trust
The one, who never gave up on me
The one, who I broke her heart countless of times
Forever appreciated and remembered,
To life - the greatest gift of all.

Painting:

About my painting:

It portraits my mother holding my hand in the middle of the picture. Forever in my heart she stays. No matter what happens, she's always there for me. That's why my hand is always in hers. Along with the heart, there is a pathway(the brown patch), which portraits how my mother have led me into this path in life. The road she have brought me into. Though, life has it's ups and down and that there are times of frustration and anger. Yet together we are, still living under one roof, the place i call home. The roses, portraits the life we both lead. Roses may look gentle and lovely, yet there are torns. Just like how life is. Having its ups and downs.

My bed of feathers

The picture shows my mother .
The kind expression shows her gentleness .
The gold heart shows that she has a heart of gold .
The golden streaks in her hair also shows that she has another side , that she is not as innocent as she seems .

My mother is like my bed of feathers ;
whenever I fall , she is there to catch me safely and softly .
She is soft and light alone , but together she is strong and sturdy .
When she is broken , she is like a torn feather pillow and her emotions get confused .
When she is composed , her heart is like a bed of feathers brought together to give warmth .
Always a comfort to me , for me to lie on and for me to pour my heart into .
She is the one and only mom I have , the bed of feathers that I will never throw away .

Description: The black figure shows a mother holding her child in her arms, which shows the love a mother devotes to her child. It also shows the line "For all the times she gently picked me up"I used black paint as a form of elegance for the mother and child. The grey streaks are the reflections of light and also allows viewers to differentiate the hands and body of the mother, and the child. The rose on the left is to represent the mother's love, which coincides with the line "Is just like a sophisticated piece of art". The blue background with the dark blue streaks shows the ocean, thus visualizing the line "In life's ocean, vast and wide"

Poem:

The greatest gift of all

Her love is just like an island

In life’s ocean, vast and wide

There are times when only a mother’s love

Can share the joy we feel

Just like an angelic dove

For all the times she gently picked me up,

When I fell down,

For all the times she tied my shoes

And tucked me into bed,

Or when we she needed something

But put me first instead

Her special heart

Is just like a sophisticated piece of art

Loving me with every might

And accompanying me in every fight

Life, the greatest gift of all

Given to me by her never ending hall

Of love,

Of life.

My Graceful Dare-devil

The daring attempt you took,

Made the entire world shook.

You risk your life,

To get me out alive.

Since then,

You are like a wonder woman,

Always be there when I'm in need.

You are like a precious water,

Hydrating a thirsty,lonely seed.

Time soars into the sky,

Gliding passed us,slowly but unseen.

Fourteen years has passed by,

But you are still persisting to win.

My constant insolence,

Had repeatedly shatters your heart.

Your level of tolerance,

Cannot be portrayed by any art

You are an elegant swan,

Portraying grace,balance and beauty.

The best mother,I have sworn,

Does everything with sincerity.

I will like to shout out,in conclusion,

"I LOVE YOU!!!"to the whole world.

Also,thousands of contrition

To my graceful dare-devil.

About the painting:
The clock on the top left hand corner represents my age.It is almost 14 and a half as it is almost June. The heart in the middle is made up by many broken pieces. It coincides with the line' Had repeatedly shatters your heart'.This is to show that my mother stays strong despite her being broken for many times. The golden swan in the middle represents my mom. Also, she is wearing Wonder Woman clothings. This is to visualise the line 'You are like a wonder woman' and
'You are an elegant swan'.

Research on photo collage

These are some images of a photo collage:

On the left hand,is a picture collage of a boy. The collage shows the boy's personality.

On the right hand side is a picture collage in a constrained area.E.g.:A shape, number etc.Usually, numbers are used to represent an age of a person, anniversary etc.

The collage portrays a life of a lady who is celebrating her 48th birthday and also, her memorable moments of her life.

Similarly, the picture collage on the right is also in a constrained area. Usually, the shape of the entire collage or the frame must be related to the theme of the collage.
For instance, the collage on the right potrays a married life. Thus,a heart is used as the frame to deliver the theme of love.

The picture collage on the left potrays a lifestory of the girls in the middle. It shows her memorable events from each phase of her life.
